Before publishing my journal on this site, I decided to share with you, some of the enigmas of this chart.

I have enclosed two signatures with this post:

1) A copy of the signature taken from the Enigma chart.

2) A copy of Captain Kidds' real signature, taken from one of his original letters to the Law Lords of England.

As you can plainly see, the signatures bear no resemblance to one another, whatsoever!!.

The self appointed Kidd experts' claim that the Enigma chart, is a Figment of the Authors imagination, that he the author, concocted the chart from Kidd related material.!!

If that is the case, then the Author must have been a complete idiot!!, as the enigma chart, with its' supposed signature of Kidd, and a copy of two of Kidds' original letters, with his normal signature, are present, in the book the author sent to print.

If you and I, can plainly see the difference, in the signatures', then the Author must have also!!.
The book that these signatures appear in, was very well researched by the author, so it cannot be an oversight.

However, most of the charts and material printed within this book was supplied by the authors acquaintance, who was a collector and Kidd fanatic.

The introduction to this book, contains a list of photographs and charts, which are stated as the joint copyright of the Author and his acquaintance, .............except that is, for the Enigma chart!
This is the sole copyright of the Author!.
Therefore, the author must have acquired this chart from another source,!
Does this chart have anything to do with Kidd? I don't think so, perhaps it could be linked to another,..... perhaps the signature is more than just a signature!...... perhaps it has a hidden code or meaning within it!!

I am one of the few people to study this chart at length, you will be surprised at the secrets it holds.!!
The first secret I shall reveal is within the signature. it will be revealed in the following post!!.

This chart has a colourful, complicated and mysterious story to tell.
It has been linked to:...... Cocos island,.........Oak island and Captain William Kidd.

It first appeared in a book titled: Captain Kidd and his Skeleton Island, this book was published in 1935.
Since that time it has caused many a self acclaimed Kidd expert, to denounce it as;
A Forgery, a Concoction of all things to do with Kidd, A figment of the Authors Imagination!!!

My, My , My, how they hate it.

Of course, I have an entirely different view from the experts, perhaps thats because, unlike most of the aforesaid experts,................... I took the time to really study the chart.

Guess what?. My conclusions, prompted a British National newspaper with a daily readership of over 12million people, to Sponsor me on an expedition, to an Island group, off the coast of West Africa.

My exploits prompted me to write a 200 page journal, which still has the last chapter to be completed.
I have not the time to start it this week, however, I promise to post it on this page in the forthcoming weeks.
What an Adventure it turned out to be!!
